Sunday evening, I tried a supper recipe I've been wanting to try for a few days, Hawaiian Pizza. It definitely met my expectations and the whole family just loved it.
It's really easy and quick to make so it makes a great weeknight staple for evenings you may be crunched on time.
1 refrigerated pizza crust, I used pillsbury.
1/2 jar pizza sauce. I used Kroger brand pizza parlor style
Monterey Jack cheese
1 can Pineapple Rings
Julienne ham strips
2 pieces bacon cooked and chopped.
Roll out the pizza dough on a non-stick surface. I did mine on a sprayed aluminum foil strip since I don't have to wash my pan that way. Spread pizza sauce over dough, then sprinkle with as much mozzerella and monterey jack as desired. Dice up 2 pineapple rings and spread over pizza, then finally sprinkle with ham strips. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes. Once you bring the pizza out of the oven, sprinkle the bacon on top and let it cool a bit before you slice it up.
Monday morning, Caroline got a package in the mail that was from one of my favorite new places to order her clothes, The Smockling. It was a sundress I pre-ordered a couple months ago and it is just so precious on her! She immediately wanted to put it on, so I obliged and let her wear it around the house. I said to her, "Caroline, you just look beautiful." That rotten girl looked at me and said, "You can just call me Princess Caroline." Noted.
She proceeded to twirl, curtsey and spin all around the living room for the next thirty minutes. It was a sight to behold. We sure have our hands full :)
