So you may remember from my posting about our summer vacation a few weeks ago that one of our stops was in Beaufort, NC, one of the most charming little coastal towns we've ever visited. We took in some beautiful scenery, had a super successful time shelling and seeing wild horses, ate some good food and of course, my Goddaughter Lexi and I had a blast hitting up the local shops. One of the last places we visited the day we spent shopping was the most adorable shop that I am now completely obsessed with Called Beaufort Linen Co. We almost didn't stop in since it was around 8:30 p.m. and I wasn't even sure they were open, but we decided to try and I am so glad we did! The place is an absolute dream and the owner was hands down one of the sweetest people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. So, since I was once a small gift shop business owner, I wanted to do my part to spread the word about this amazing shop and I hope if you're ever in Beaufort, you'll do yourself a favor and stop in, you won't regret it. And if you're not in Beaufort, you can hit up their online shop! Which I'm embarrassed to admit how many times I've done just that since stopping by the store in person ;)
The store is right on Front street facing the water. It's near the end of the shopping district in town, which isn't lare, just a few blocks, so it's easy to find.
And if you think the outside is precious, the inside is even better! I sent the owner a message after she posted this photo basically telling her I'd live in this place! I wanted to share just a few of my favorite things that are on the website right now.
Ginger jars and pearl earrings...I'm in love. I just ordered those pearl ear jackets tonight and I can't wait to get them! They are great for fast shipping, too, so I won't be waiting long.
I have the poncho above in an aqua color and it is perfect for throwing on when we're out on the boat or heading to the pool. I think the adult sizes are sold out, so the one I linked is a child's size. The way they are made, it would likely fit as well.
I picked up the surfer girl tray and it's in our guest bedroom as a sort of catchall right now. I just love it and I would especially love it in a coastal home or a lakehouse...anything near the water. And I also have the pearl necklace pictured above. The pearl is giant and adorable and I have gotten so many compliments every time I wear it!
So I mentioned that we went in the store late one night while we were in town. That night, I picked up a piko top and necklace, but I couldn't stop walking back over to a rack of the cutest, SOFTEST pajamas I had ever seen. I ended up not getting them that night because they were a bit on the pricey side for pjs. Well, you know what they say, nothing haunts us quite like the things we didn't buy. That next morning, we were packing up and heading to Charleston, but before we left town, I had to go back and grab the short set of pajamas. I love them so much. And for my birthday last week, Juston had ordered the nightgown since I talked so much about how great they were and dropped some not-so-subtle hints.
So that's it, a few of my current favorite things from one of my new favorite shops. I can't wait to head back to Beaufort, we're thinking next fall, so I can spend some more time in this adorable town and get back to visit this shop and the sweet owner. I hope y'all find something you love if you take the time to pop over to the website. They are also on Facebook and Instagram if you search "Beaufort Linen Co".
