Have y'all perused the J Crew website recently? There are so many adorable pieces for spring that I'd love to get my hands on, it's crazy! I love that even though J Crew allows for some trends in their pieces (i.e. bell sleeves, tassels, etc) they keep their pieces classic and timeless for the most part so that they're wearable for multiple years. So let's get started on my favorites right now:
I love this eyelet dress so much. Eyelet is one of those materials I just can't get enough of in spring and summer and this dress would be perfect for graduation, wedding showers, etc. It comes in three colors, but I think my favorite is the white.
This blazer in this color is just so perfect. I haven't tried it on, but it's listed as having a tailored fit and it's linen, which even though it can get messy with wrinkles after wearing, I still love linen for the hotter months because of how hot it gets in the South. And how perfect would this blazer be with the chambray pants pictured below?!
Chambray, ruffles, ankle length...these are basically the perfect pants. They're simple, but the ruffle detail give them a little something extra and they could be paired with so many tops and shoes that the possibilities are just endless.
I also think the pink blazer would be cute with these boyfriend jeans for a more dressed down look. I love boyfriend jeans in concept but they can be tricky for me to pull off since I have thicker legs. It's always been hard for me to find jeans that are a relaxed fit in my legs but not too large in my waist. These are worth a shot though.
This apricot dress is just so gorgeous. It's a simple silhouette, a gorgeous color and flattering on almost any shape. I absolutely love this dress. It comes in three other colors and I love them all, but this color is just so soft and feminine that I think I'm in love with this dress.
The midi dress...another item that I can have a tough time pulling off. I've found a few that work on me and I love the one above. Dresses are just so great because they're so easy. You throw it on, add some shoes and accessories and you're on your way looking put together for so little effort involved.
Seeing that these yellow pants were sold out in my size already was pretty much a bummer. I love a bold pop of color in the warm months and yellow looks so great against tan skin. These pants are so bold that a simple white button down top is all you need to finish off the look and feel polished and pulled together.
